A report says that young people who participate regularly in the arts are four times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement. Kids can develop their creativity, problem-solving, motor skills and critical-thinking skill.

Left brain learners are logical, linear thinkers and tend to have strong auditory and language skills. Right brain learners are visual spatial thinkers, who learn Visual Arts, dance & music and think conceptually.

Mostly school curriculum is left brain based (Science, math)If children's are learning Art they can use both sides of the brain equally that leads them to be smarter student.

Most important perhaps, when kids feel good while they are creating, art helps boost self-confidence,and children who feel able to experiment and to make mistakes feel free to invent new ways of thinking, which extends well beyond the craft room.

Wycinanki, intricate paper cut-outs, has been a popular folk craft in Poland since the mid-19th century. They traditionally depicted scenes from daily life and were used to decorate cottages. In this workshop, kids tried the simple wycinanki designs with easy step by step instructions.  In Poland, the decorative cut-outs are mainly associated with two regions – Łowicz and Kurpie. The Kurpie cut-outs are made with a single sheet of paper and are thus totally symmetrical and only one colour. Those from the Łowicz area feature colourful designs built from layering the intricate cut-outs. Kerala Mural Painting

Kerala mural paintings are the frescos depicting Hindu Mythlogy and legends, which are drawn on the walls of temples and churches in South India. The murals palette consists of five colours namely, yellow, red, green, black and white, prepared from mineral pigments and vegetables. The themes are depicted using common iconographic symbols from the Puranas like Ramayana and Mahabharatafrom the Hindu myt hology.
